It is a gorgeous clear day in Paris. Today at Butte Montmartre after my piano lesson I was trotting up the street to the Pigalle stop and paused on the sidewalk as I came upon a small crowd of waist-high children outside the theater, all bundled in hats and striped scarves and mittens. Someone inside the theater had pressed a bubble wand up against a small opening in the outside wall (perhaps for mail delivery?) and was blowing a stream of bubbles out into the street. All the children were hopping up and down delightedly clapping the bubbles between their fleeced paws and shouting happy things in French while their parents waited patiently in a group off to the side. It was adorable.
Also sort of adorable: this song. I don’t know why Game decided to make it over 4 minutes long, but it still makes me do silly hopping dances around my room when I hear it.

Later today I will make pomegranate preserves! Turns out jam is really hard to make.
